Day 2- Jenolen Caves

We joined a day tour to the Jenolen Caves! It is one of the world's most spectacular limestone caves. It is well-preserved cos the explorers who discovered the caves understood the damaging effects humans can have on nature and emphasised the importance of protecting the caves.

Here's us on tour bus- all fresh and cheery after the good night rest!

The caves were simply breathtaking- it was like geography come alive for me! Saw the magnificant stalacites and stalagmites, recalled how limestone caves and formation are formed...saw beautiful pure crystals which were not polluted by impurities in the rainwater. The wonders of mother nature never fail to amaze me with its abilities to form such beautiful sights... I could not capture the sights on camera...you really have to be there to witness and feel its wonders =)
